Laboratory

The laboratory of non-destructive control methods LNMK, equipped with modern control and diagnostic equipment and has all the necessary documentation for the used control methods (RD, OST, GOST, PNAEG-7 ..., ST TsKBA. ..). The laboratory has a certificate of certification number 60A020712, issued by an independent body for the certification of non-destructive testing laboratories of NPO TsNIITMASH of 12.07.11. The laboratory of NMK includes highly qualified specialists who are also certified in the centers of scientific research institutes.

The following methods of non-destructive testing and diagnostics are used in the NMC laboratory:

  • ultrasonic (ultrasonic flaw detection and thickness measurement);
  • radiation (radiographic);
  • penetrating substances (capillary defectoscopy and leak detection);
  • magnetic (magnetic particle);
  • visual and measuring.

There is a modern stationary x-ray installation EXTRAVOLT-E320 / R2000, with a radiation power of up to 350 kV and allowing control of metals up to 80 mm thick. The processing of the obtained data is carried out with the help of the PHOTOMATIC - a complex of digital radiography on the basis of storage phosphor plates. X-ray control is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 7512-82 "Non-destructive control. Welded joints. Radiographic method."

For carrying out an on-line analysis of the chemical composition and identification of the materials used at the entrance control of the NMC laboratory, the X-ray fluorescence spectrometer THERMONiton XL2-GOLDD is used. Analysis of metals and alloys is carried out without sampling and destruction of the object under study and without conducting vacuum.

For ultrasonic testing, modern flaw detectors UDZ-103 are used, equipped with transducers of various functions: flat, inclined. radius. There are more than 40 SOPs (standard samples of the enterprise) of different metal grades that are certified in the system of the Gosgortekhnadzor of the Russian Federation. All ultrasound control activities are carried out in accordance with RD, OST, GOST.

For testing the tightness of various systems and objects that allow the pumping of the internal cavity, as well as filled with helium or a mixture containing helium, and detecting places of leakage (leaks), a TI1-22 mass spectrometric leak detector is used. All work is performed in accordance with PNAEG-7-019-89 (Rules and regulations of nuclear energy).
